| New MST FXX-D 2WD on the way.
Using the 15% ebay discount code I pulled the trigger on a new RTR MST FXX-D 2WD BMW drift car. This drifting looks like way too much fun and I have been wanting to get in to this for a while now. What are some good sites for RC Drifting?

Congrats! Drifting is fun, but I get bored because I have nobody to do it with. What do you mean by sites? Forums or parts? Drift is a very small niche. In the US it's far smaller than crawling. Facebook groups are the biggest and most active for forums. For parts checkout Falcon Hobby Supply. https://www.falconhobbysupply.com |

YES!!!!!!!!!! man i LOVE the FXXD with FR layout!!! wish i had enough set aside to get the same with that ebay discount. i did nab some goodies too but not an RTR! lol very nice man i cant wait to see what you do with it! (maybe slap a vaterra Camaro body on there???) i started a "drift resources" thread here. not much going on but hopefully more people will start to contribute. somebody mentioned a site on humboldtef's thread so i will paste the link in my thread and give credit, also bumpting the topic for ya. ;) (while i didn't get an RTR during the ebay sale, i DID snag myself a modern RX and ESC for my old TC3 i might yank front shafts and see what happens! still jonesing for an FXXD though!) |

Well the new FXX-D was delivered today but the left steering upright was damaged to the point the lower ball joint cannot be screwed in and have it stay in place. So right out of the box (literally) I need to replace the front steering uprights. What is the best goto source for MST FXX-D parts? What is a good source for aftermarket upgrade MST parts?

Just saw JatoTheRipper had already mentioned them as Falcon hobbies. I used to buy from them a lot before they were a division of Falcon. Best source of MST stuff I know of in the US.

Pics of the carnage? There are a ton of aftermarket parts for these so maybe its a good excuse to upgrade? | |
