Default R/C Tricycles - the new hotness?

So apparently the overseas R/C trike market has really taken off while I wasn't paying attention. I thought it was just the Tamiya Dancing Rider, but RC Mart is showing at least 3 others available or coming soon. Possibly the most adorable R/C's I've ever seen

Hmm, I'm just not quite sure what to think.

They look like they're offroad vehicles?

LOL, I don't know what to think either! So quirky. I imagine them being popular in Japan while the rest of the world kind of shrugs.

It appears the top one is meant for off-road but the others are on-road. It says the middle one is actually for drifting. The bottom one is like a small scale Dancing Rider knockoff because it actually leans through the turns.

I don't know if I'd actually buy one but I'd love to go for a test drive.

Top one is pretty cool! Lots of scale details in there.

I've wanted a Dancing Rider since they were announced, but haven't gotten one yet. I also love the first X Rider because it reminds me of Loris Rosati's Lightning McQueen Ape Proto.

He has plenty of videos on Facebook and YouTube and that guy can haul ass on his trike.

I may have to get a couple of trikes sooner or later. Looks like it could be some good fun around the driveway with my son.

They remind me of the three wheeled lawn mower we had at work way back when my summer job was landscaping. We used to call it ‘The Camel’. It looked weird, but man it got the job done. The front swivel wheel allowed you to carve some serious corners.

The life size one screams ‘Go Cart!’ . Conjurs up the excited child in me

I still haven't grabbed an X-Rider but the Dancing Rider is the most fun thing EVER CREATED to race with a friend. The X-Rider and other drift one seem to be the same platform which do still look fun but I can't see them being as fun as the self-righting masterpiece that is the TDR.

When will we see the dual rider review? Also have you upgraded the rear at all?

I see these a lot on instagram (follow a few Japanese rc accounts), I don't know either... I wish we would see more goofy racing classes like this, just for fun. Americans don't seem to be as into fun as Japan, ha!
