| Slash street eliminator
I've always liked the idea of RC drag cars so,when I saw that people were converting Slashes,Just had to build one. It's basically a Slash with Bandit arms to narrow it up. Started from scratch with a pile of parts and built from there. Unfortunately, the Mustang body didn't work out so,I went to plan B. Got the body painted today but, want to let it dry more before final cutting.I'll post pics of the finished product once I do get it cut out. Pat |

Check out the latest "Tekin Builds" videos on YouTube. Ty just finished a series on converting a Slash to a Street Eliminator. Did a step-by-step. ~ More peace, love, laughter, & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

Body is cut out.Just need to smooth it up a little once I figure out where my Dremel is. Happy with the way the pearl and color came out. Shown next to my Capra for size comparison. |

I hate you...just kidding. It's just that, everyone else is getting to enjoy their Capra, while I'm still toiling away at my interior (tho, only because of what I'm doing with/to it). ~ More peace, love, laughter, & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

That looks so slippery and fast in purple and green...sorry the fox body didn’t work but the lines on this in the colors you chose are just beautiful. Video, video, video, lol!

I’m still debating on converting my slash over to one of these. I really liked the Chevelle SS body.

I'm considering doing something similar. I'm not to interested in drag racing (no one to race with). I have a bandit already, thinking about buying a slash LCG chassis and making a road car. I like the idea of altering things and creating something they were never intended to be. I'm currently converting a 4tec 2.0 into a Baja/rally car.

I've been thinking about doing one of these just as an excuse to buy an IROC-Z body.

| Re: Slash street eliminator Pulled the trigger yesterday. Ordered the IROC body and bought an SC5M on Ebay. In retrospect it probably would have been cheaper to buy a B5M and an SC5M chassis, but too late! Hopefully I can fit the SC5M shocks & towers under the body.

What went wrong with the fox body? I've been gathering parts myself to start a build.

I love these drag builds. They look so bad ass like this one. But I'd never drive it so I haven't given into this trend yet. Quote:
