So, I bought a Chassis Tub and Main Drive Shaft from RCMART on April 2nd and there was no tracking information showing on eBay, so I finally sent them a message asking for the tracking information...

Their answer:
"SF Express is not able to ship out the order to the AK.
Would you please provide a physical shipping address?"

Now, my address is a physical street address and I have had lots of parts shipped to me from overseas lately, and not one has had a problem shipping to me, other than a motor plate from South Korea. I have had other parts come from Hong Kong without issue.

My main issue is that I placed the order 18 days ago and it seems the only reason they contacted me about the shipping, was because I inquired about it. Do they just put you on ignore and not worry about it. They would have known there was a shipping problem as soon as they tried to ship it, which definitely should have been sooner that 18 days after the order was placed.

Just ranting because I am irritated...

That's very irritating... definitely they should have contacted you. How can you just sit on an order for nearly 3 weeks?

My thoughts exactly!!!

I might cancel the order and pull the trigger on an flat carbon fiber or graphite chassis plate set-up. There are a few for sale in the $50-$60 price range.
Like this one: Chassis

Then I'll just need to figure out an stronger main driveshaft replacement.

So, the tiny tires and wheels showed up for the on road conversion today, man these things are tiny...

They are just a cheap pair of eBay tires and wheels to get things moving along. I have a set of HPI 4045 tires coming in too, but these will get it going once the rest of the suspension parts get here.

Some shots of the new wheel / tire combo.

You skipped leg day, bro!

You need some larger tires with the truck body. Idea stolen from OSRC.

Agreed, well almost. The truck body was installed just for fun. It will be getting a late 60's Mustang body

I think I skipped leg month...

I love where this is going!
OSRC has some killer rides and great advice, too.
