Default Losi Baja Rey

I am Seriously contemplating picking up the Losi Baja Rey Trophy truck, in the BND flavor.

From what I have read, the rear axle, and front diff housing have issues? How does it hold up on 2s?

I have no problem modifying, and building... I like the Price point I love the looks....

Suggestions?

Comments?

On 2s they are supposed to hold up much better.

I would suggest at least getting the Losi aluminum servo mount and steering rack

Well... She got Sent!

Had a great time today, My two Brother in laws drove my Baja Rey, and my Slash. My Nephews and Nieces all got to drive it on 50% power, and My Nephew with his Slash got to drive it as well...She bounced and bashed over rocks jumped curbs, and traction rolled a few times. All said, it is an incredibly durable truck! LOL!

I think the servo might be toast, or the mount, cause its not steering any more. My 4000mah 2s shorty packs lasted long enough to find enjoyment out of the truck, and I really don't think I need much more speed ATM.

Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures as I had a 2yr old, a 4yr old and 6 yr old i my lap when I wasn't driving, and sometimes when I was.

Both Brother in laws are talking about getting trucks now....

After the bash fest yesterday, the steering wasn't working when turning to the right.

I pulled the cage off the truck today and found two stripped out screws, where the cage mounts on the shock towers.... BOO! When I plugged the truck in, I found the servo does not turn right at all. In fact it seems it is locked up, but turns left. Yet unplugged there is no issues turning the wheels left or right. Debating now if I should call HH or just pick up a new servo...

Well I decided on a new servo. I picked up a Savox 1210mg for her. Pain in the rear to get the cage back together, but I did. Then I went out back, and did some laps...

My lovely wife took this pic, just as the battery died.

My 4000mah 2s 50c shorty packs are showing their age! BOOO! Coming out with 3.7v and 3.4v per cell after a run.
