| Looking for a Basher Kit
Hi, I have an SCX10 and a TRX4. Love the scale crawlers but want to add a basher. I love building so my basher must come in a kit version. I'm also looking for something fast with a low CoG so that it doesn't easily flip. Upgrades also a plus. Any recommendations? Thanks |

Look at Traxxas rollers on fleaBay and build to suit.

Not a lot of basher kits available, especially low CG good handling bashers. Your best bet will probably be to build an SCT from Losi or Associated. Those trucks still make good bashers as long as you're not stupid about it, they come in kit form, and parts will be plentiful, at least until they move on to the newer models.

Traxxas Stampede 4x4 kit. I know you said you're not looking for Traxxas, and I'm not sure why, but that's a fun little truck. Otherwise I'd look into Tekno. Their stuff is stupid expensive, but they also have a reputation for being stupid tough. Avoid Proline basher kits. They discontinue those in like a year's time and then the parts supply dries up. |

I 2nd the stampede 4x4 my 10yo son has been beating the snot out of his for 3 years now with only minor damage. You are better off with the vxl rtr than the kit it has better tires and adjustable tie rods and a body.

Mine is the 2wd Stampede I found as a slider on fleaBay. Cheap body, cheap wheels/tires, cheap brushless, and endless wheelies.

My Stampede 4x4 was my first truck (bought used) and it's a ton of fun. I converted it to a Slash MT a couple years ago. The truck is versatile enough to become almost anything.
