Thanks fellas! Mike it’s a jconcepts body. They have a few drag body options. @jim I’ll see what kind of video I can put together next time we head out. |

There’s an “outlaw” type of drag class where basically anything goes and those I think are 4wd | |

Its been a blast so far. Ive only run on 3s order new tires and wheel hexs for the rear. Went with the traxxas funny car tires, also tore up the spur gear(long story) so got new gears and waiting for my mamba x 5700 kv motor combo to come in. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk |

This isn’t good, I started pricing XL5 Bandits and LCG Slash chassis now to use with a VXL3s I already have.........I haven’t even finished my “Long Arm Bandit” project yet |

talltee that looks good! I just finished up a Nova last night as well. Couldn’t bring myself to put holes in the body so I’m going to work on a magnet mounting situation and maybe a strip of Velcro to help keep it on. (Whoops, left a little bit of the mask on there in the 3rd pic from painting the window trim) Last edited by Topher Builds; 08-21-2020 at 01:39 PM. |

Just realized I posted this in the wrong thread so I copied it to hear: Wow! Looks awesome TB! Um, if that’s how body painting turns out after hanging out with Makers Mark, then I need to pick some of that up! Cool colors and great logo! Brings back memories of drinking RC many decades ago! Thanks dudes! BMow the whiskey left it’s imprint though you’ll notice I cut one side shorter than the other and the short side was uneven (this has been fixed) and I also left some of the masking up on the window by the trim in these pics. Overall im happy with it. Tempted to do another to shelf so I can race this one without wincing the whole time. |

Yessir that’s the one. All 3 bodies I’ve used it on have ended up as self queens. Backed with ps-5 black.

Love the RC Nova. That is steller looking. Just got a VXL Bandit and a Slash LCG Coversion kit to combine into a dragger. I really liked the Cuda body, but the more I see of the 69 Nova, the more I like it. I am leaning towards a Druck, something in the 30's or 40's look but not the dodge body. Prefer an old 30's chevy truck body to turn into a dragger. But that Nova Body may end up as the body on my other drag build I am gathering parts for. Thanks Timmah! Drag truck would be a sick look. If you’re anything like me you’ll end up with more than one body, there are just so many cool ones out for these right now. I’m eyeballing the cuda too, that would be a fun one. |
