Unique rigs for sure. I just got the 1million wt diff fluid in. Need to swap it in this weekend. I haven’t bought or settled on a motor setup yet but need too. Working on another build right now too, so swapping back and forth.

A cool SBG sticker perfectly fit the hubs that I forgot I had for these front wheels. They are modified GMade beadlocks, un beadlocked-ed and only using front side. Smashed some bearings in. EBay toy tractor tires. Added some screws for looks. Will be figuring out a motor/esc and lipo setup for this car soon. Been working on the Zetros 4x4 build of late. |

Seems like most of the sand drag cars have little tires with almost no tread on the front just for flotation/direction. Not sure how those diggers will work but interested to see the results. They do look cool though.

HW Max8 and a 2200kv should push it forward pretty well hanging the front end a bit so those wheels wont be too much issue. lol 3-6s Looking Great! Last edited by Timmahh; 10-27-2020 at 06:55 PM. |

| Szczerbabuilt Sand/Mud Dragster (#65) Yah, I did kinda a funny post on IG about the sticker. Said they were new SBG unreleased wheels for the growing RC Sand Dragster Community. Quote:
Yup, you are correct. Smoothies up front on 2WD sand drag rigs. I originally made these front wheels and tires as "transport tires" for my MT. They were too cool looking not to put on the front of this car. I have another pair and may sand them down smooth. Quote:
I have a HH 2200kv motor here just no spare ESC. I have a good motor/esc setup that runs 2s on my 2WD bashing slash. May rob that to see how the wheelspeed it. I'll figure it out, just need to build up some more RC funds to buy what I finally want for it. Put some Gravity RC 1million Polydimethylsiloane in the rear diff. They make up to 20million. Doing some final welding and cleaning of the subframe.

Not to ignore the dragster, but what is that Beast of a tow rig? from what I can see, it looks to have an International cab and an F350/F450/F550 bed? And a 6 door? And that Mud truck on the gooseneck! Amazing setup Where did you get the gooseneck? Or is it custom? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Traxxas UDR wheels and tires just may work. Modified the wheels for SLW hubs. Only two screws in when I took the picture. Wheel face will get cleaned up. |

Thanks Justin. Car is still sitting waiting to be finished. Some emergency house repairs have come up and take most of my free time of late. I really just need to mount the Hemi motor, paint the chassis, and choose a motor/esc.

| Re: Szczerbabuilt Sand/Mud Dragster (#65) Cheesy slow-mo video in the post above. Been raining heavily, even for the PNW, the last week or so. Had to get the correct pinion here too. Needed a shorter length one that still had full teeth width. My modified pinion didn't work but for 3 passes. Not sure on the body setup, if any.

Thanks. This has probably been one of my "slower" builds, time-wise. I finally broke it all down and finished it off. Back on the shelf to look it. It's fun to drive but need the ESC for other projects.
