Default Linear Actuators

Anyone know of a good place to get linear actuators? I have found a couple of deferent styles on Amazon, but the ones I am looking for a driven off of the bottom of the actuator.

What stroke you need ? Ages ago I looked for something to change gears on a two speed gearbox ;)
But as Mike said ...decent ones are not cheap.

I believe and inch would be more than plenty.

I am trying to use servos to control the booms, and they are just too fast, no matter how much I crank down the controls in radio; it makes it look like a retarded bird.

Have you talked to Al @ HeyOK Performance? He's a vendor on the board and might be able to make you a speed reducer for the servos..

I'll have to hit him up, see if he has a better solution to my problem, thanks for the suggestion. I am very familiar with Al's stuff, I have a number of his products in other builds.
