| KORP Non-MOA project
Because I've developed a nasty habit of investing time and money into projects and making them cost much more than the original piece, I've started another project. I'm definitely the only one with that problem right? So far, I'm happy with the way things are turning out. Made custom steel and aluminum re-enforcement plates for the top and bottom to replace the now unusable gigantic receiver cover that acted as the only chassis brace. Fitted and RC4WD Rigid rear axle, Xtra speed scx10.2 aluminum kit transmission, vanquish machete wheels, Pro-line AT T/A tires, Holmes Hobbies Trailmaster ESC and 3500 kv puller pro. Eventually it'll all be wrapped up under a Pro-line Nova street eliminator body. Turns out the eliminator Nova is near identical in dimensions to the stock KORP, aside from being a little wide. Still need to buy a slightly longer driveshaft, receiver/transmitter, next size up SLW hubs for the front (725 I think), figure out final body mounts/position, make final cuts and clean up the body, then paint. "Interesting" project. With a build like that, any ideas on painting it? Might I suggest something Mad Max-esque? ~ More peace, love, and kindness would make the world a much better place |

Well I'm glad you posted the build thread, last night I was googling KORP wondering what the heck it was. Kyosho Outlaw Rampage Pro And no you're not the only one with this problem... I mean gift Are you gonna convert to a 2 speed? I assume that tranny can be converted to one like the stock version. Looks like a fun project |

Following along...seems like there was quite a fuss when this came out. I thought it looked neato but the MOA was kind of ugly...liking where you are headed with this. The Nova gets bonus points of course |

HumboldtEF, (sorry, to tired to figure out how to multi-quote) I might install a two-speed kit in the future. It mostly depends on free space and how fast it turns out with the single speed. Thank you everyone one, I'm relatively new to this forum (lurking for a while, don't post much) and sort of new to custom builds. Any and all feedback/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
