Default My first Tamiya kit

Well the other day I pulled the trigger on a Tamiya TT01E Volkswagen Sirocco limited edition kit. This is my first Tamiya kit and the build went OK. When I ran it for the first time I was makin a sound like it had a slipper clutch but turns out I didn't know that the motor mount had different holes for different Pinon and spur gear set ups, so thanks to a friend of mine he was able to help figure that out. Hope y'all enjoy the the pix.

Stats,
EcoPower 17.5 turn sensored brushless motor
Hobbywing Quicrun just stock esc
Hitec HS-645MG servo
Spectrum SR201 receiver

Looks good to me...not that I've ever built a Tamiya kit. But, I will be soon. Picked up two different TT-02 kits (Raybrig NSX Concept for me, & Mercedes-AMG GT3 for my stepdad). Over Thanksgiving week, we'll be building them side-by-side, including some Hop-Up parts.Guess, I could say, MSM caught my "Tamiya attention" when he started his 'Tamiya Tuesdays' videos on his YouTube channel.
