| My first Tamiya kit
Well the other day I pulled the trigger on a Tamiya TT01E Volkswagen Sirocco limited edition kit. This is my first Tamiya kit and the build went OK. When I ran it for the first time I was makin a sound like it had a slipper clutch but turns out I didn't know that the motor mount had different holes for different Pinon and spur gear set ups, so thanks to a friend of mine he was able to help figure that out. Hope y'all enjoy the the pix. Looks good to me...not that I've ever built a Tamiya kit. But, I will be soon. Picked up two different TT-02 kits (Raybrig NSX Concept for me, & Mercedes-AMG GT3 for my stepdad). Over Thanksgiving week, we'll be building them side-by-side, including some Hop-Up parts.Guess, I could say, MSM caught my "Tamiya attention" when he started his 'Tamiya Tuesdays' videos on his YouTube channel. ~ More peace, love, and kindness would make the world a much better place |
