Default Jebster's Sherp

I'm always on the lookout for unique rigs. I saw some videos featuring an rc Sherp and I knew I had to get one. I put in an order with rccustoms and many months later I got unit #29.
I made some updates right away. Added a roll cage with lights. It came with dual esc and a stick radio which I'm not a fan of so I switched over to a sabertooth escape and pistol radio.
It is fun to drive. Not the most capable rig but mud and water are no issue. Took it out for a quick spin on the snow earlier: https://youtu.be/ZH8alfLH7Hk

Now I'm putting together a trailer. It is 3d printed and will have a shape to compliment the Sherp.

Here are a few pics.

Nice, the trailer turned out excellent. Try not to jackknife it

It is from customrc. I think he is on Facebook. And definitely not cheap but I guess you pay for uniqueness.

I actually have that same jack knife concern. To address that the hitch plate on the trailer I going to be held in place by magnets. My plan is that if I push it too far it will detach to prevent damage. Once I get it fabricated I'll post up some pics.

Now you won't need that salt spreader rig..
Just power right thru!
Definitely different

I like things that are different. But with the sleet and ice I'm getting I may have to use the salt spreader tomorrow.

Get everything finished up (minus the hub caps) and I'm happy with the outcome. In the pics you can see how I use magnets to create a separation point if I jackknife or just get too crazy. The trailer is completely sealed so is should float.

I'll try to get a video of it in action on the ice tomorrow since my driveway is completely coated.

Thanks. I love the challenge of trying to build something different. Now it will spend most of its life on a shelf with some occasional runs!
