I've mounted Axial Yeti cages to some 2WD Slashes, and they turned out looking pretty cool. More like a Class 1 buggy, but I was able to mount the Slash body to that cage and it looked great. Sourcing a Yeti cage would be a waiting game though. A guy I saw on YouTube (Double Clutch Productions) mounted an Element Gatekeeper cage to an Associated short course chassis, and that looked rad! I bet you could put just about any 1:10 roll cage onto a short course chassis. Some roll cages it'd be easier to mount a truck body on than others. Anyway, if you start with getting a cage onto a chassis, you can figure out a body after that. |

Well... this definitely doesn't qualify... but it is a Short Course, and just fun to watch... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9bjgL-7b0s If I were to make a Scale Short Course Truck, I would probably start with a UDR or something with a straight rear axle. |

I have a couple of SCB's, the Losi and the Associated. They look pretty cool stock. Not exactly sure how true to scale they are but they sure look cool

I just picked up the Pro-Line Toyota Tundra body for my Slash 4x4 Ultimate. I plan on making it as scale as possible and adding lights to it. Hoping to get some paint on it when the humidity drops.

True 1/10 scale, like a Cen Racing dually? What is it dimensionally? And to think that a friend and I had designed and drawn up a sheet metal chassis for a trophy truck and I shelved the idea, saying it wouldn't sell. Hopefully their program grows in popularity and they are successful with a race series. To get RPM to make your stuff and engineer MIP components shows some level of commitment to their product. |

That Yeti based Raptor is Awesome. Like I said, If you want it to be "scale", start with something that has a straight rear axle. |
