Tower is doing a "Truck Month" promotion, selling the Losi 22s SCT for $170, RTR.

I just scored one. My 4 year olds have been asking for a Slash. $170 put the price right in the ballpark of a 1/24 crawler.

That little Losi 22s SCT has been awesome so far. Three days at the outdoor desert track with my 4 year old sons driving it at 75% throttle, and they've had a blast.

Nothing's broken, not even close. I locked the rear diff with Silly Putty, and these stock tires do great in sand & loose dirt. The suspension has been handling our desert terrain quite well also.

This truck is everything you wish a stock Traxxas Slash was, for about 1/2 the price. However, Traxxas might sue you for buying a non-Traxxas product.

I will say that RPP Hobby has the Traxxas 1/10 Slash 2WD Kit with Radio System and Power System for $199.95 on sale.

That's the Slash that comes with all RTR electronics and everything else, just build it and paint it.

Only bringing that up because Losi may be discontinuing that SCT.

You'll be able to find Slash parts until the end of time, most likely!

I always thought the proportions of this truck were goofy but Exocaged RC put a set of paddle tires on that make a big difference. Looks much cooler IMO and runs great on sand.

Looks like a lot of fun for the price . I’m spending that much just in a few parts this week .
