Default My new RC

Normally I dont post pictures of my stuff, but this one is pretty cool.

I was told to bring my truck to pick up a box.
When I opened the box I was a bit confused. It was this huge heavy (74lb.) RC skateboard (yes RC). Now normally I would not buy something like this for my self, but it was given to me. I rode it around for a little while and went home, it had the cool factor, but I was not that impressed with it because of how slow it was, later I got a call on how to make it faster. WOW this thing can haul, at slow speed, its a little faster that a brisk walk, at full speed, the paper says its ~22mph. I dont know exactly how fast it is, but I did get speed wobbles a few times. Im pushing about 220#. It says its rated for up to 300#
Now I have to see if I can get away with lipos in there instead of the heavy *** stuff thats in it now

So there is a hand-held RC throttle? Does it steer like a regular skateboard? Pretty sweet, I'd ride it

Here is another pic for a size comparison next to my maxx, and a pic of the remote.
You turn somewhat like a normal skateboard. You can't just kick the tail and pivot, you have to just use the trucks and lean. Thats a bit had to get used to and I ate it a few times thinking I could turn like normal.

That also takes the trick factor out, This thing is 74lbs.!

I found out how much it cost and its about $450 or so. They do have a extreme dirt riding board too. Its nothing like the one in the link from Gula, but it has a fiberglass deck, footholds and the batteries are mounted over the rear. On this model the batteries are in the center.
