with a 6 cell and proper gearing around 25-30 mph with a 7 cell you can probally hit 35. this is on a stampede transmission btw.

as long as you get enough speed it should do! and as long as you gear it righ i've heard stors of people gettin up to nearly 50mph in a touring car

I would say it depends on your budget and what voltage you want to run. If you want over 35mph it will make motor maintenance much easier- virtually none.

Normally about $160 to $200 for a decent brushless system, novak systems are a bit higher.

If you want to go brushless i would say go with a mamba max system they are nice, with brushed i would say you will be going through brushing and cutting the comm if you run it a lot!!

I have a Mamba Maxx an MM5700 combo with a 6cell sub C pack in a TC3. It has enough *** to leave tire marks from all 4 wheels at almost any rolling speed(don't believe me, ask Rok_Dok, he hit a new Porsche doing it.). It will cost you more, but I haven't been more happy.
