Hpi Baja 5b? Hello I am a total newbie on petrol rc buggy's. I am saving up and soon I'll have around a 1000.00 pound to spend on one and upgrades. Here are my question. 1) Do they need a lot of maintenance to keep in perfect order? 2) Do they run on oil mixed petrol? 3) What is the avergae speed of them? 4) Do they come ready to run? 5) what are the best upgrades to buy first? 6) Are there any better Off road buggy, Electric or Petrol? Thanks james |

2) Oil is mixed in with the gas 3) about 38 mph or 61 kph with a totally stock baja 5b RTR 4) They can. There is the 5b RTR which is prebuilt, all you need is to charge the reciever battery, put in gas, and batteries in the transmitter. Or there is the 5b SS, which is a kit and you need to build it and supply electronics, besides the steering servo. 5) A tuned pipe is normally the first upgrade. 6) Your not going to get anything better for the money. Its an amazingly fun rc! Check out www.hpibajaforum.com for more info. "thumbsup" |

If you can build a crawler you shouldn't have a problem building a 5b, they come with instructions. You can't mix normal motor oil. You will need to mix 2-cycle mixing oil into the gasoline its pretty simple. |

You'll like the xxx-t g+ too, 2s lipo and I almost totally balded the tires last night. :D |
What Oil shall I get for the SS version? How much oil shall I mix in with the fuel? Will normal 2 stroke oil work? |
