Sunday September 4th $1 comp at Devil's Playground

When : Sunday September 4th
Location: Devil's Playground This location is Private Property
Time: 9:00 am

Each driver will setup a course. Each driver will give $1 to run each course. The driver with the best score on each course wins the money. In the case of a tie the money rolls over to the next course. We have done this twice now, and have realized it is great practice.

Afterwards we will head to East Coast Wings and Grill

No one said you had to pay to come meet some new people at a spot that is not always available to crawl. The $1 is only if you want to compete and get some great practice.

It doesn't require any money to come met anyone, but on a more series note. This is more of a practice day. I think the intentions of the 1 dollar courses was to make it a better practice, more of a real comp situation to better prepare the guys going to nats in a couple of weeks. You will see a few of the top drivers around running their rigs that day so if your wanting to catch up on the comp scene to see what people is running these days that would be a great opportunity for you to do so. Hope to see you out on the rocks some time.

Might see about getting out there this weekend to catch up a lil. However I believe my comp days are over really enjoying the scale scene now adays. My last comp rig "clodenstein" had almost $2,000 invested in it lol my scale rig has under $300 so far lol. Got to check the Google maps to see how far devils playground is first lol.

You should be fine with the car until you get to the little crossing to go into the woods.......They were racing across both paths so it got a bit dug up. I will be driving my wife's cherokee just to be safe.

As of right now I won't be making it. I think I got tickets to a braves game saturday night.

We don't really have a picture taker in the group. If we do its usually me, and this weekend is all practice time cause we got the big show next weekend!!

Im planning on being there with plenty of batteries this time. My new Deans should be here tomorrow so I'll have to solder them onto all my batteries and get them charged before Sunday morning but should have plenty of time. I might even drop the wire size down to 18g and shorten what I can to clean it all up before Sunday

I got everything finished up on the rig but Andee had planned for us to ride with our motorcycle group to Little Switzerland so Im gonna miss this one.
