Are you talking about Wilmington? I stay about 30 minutes from newton grove if that's tells anyone anything. We have a state park nearby called the cliffs of the neuse. It has some ok spots to crawl. Very flat out here

WNC = Western North Carolina, so the mountains.

I'd love to have some updated spots around here, though!

We are currently here in New Bern,NC for work. Travel full time in the RV. Kids and I bring the trucks along with us though so that's a plus. Hoping all this Pandemic is over soon, planning on taking them over to Rocky Mount, NC. Anyone been there? Decent place? Trying to find some spots closer to New Bern as well.

There is this awesome little area in Thomasville, it’s by the new disk golf course out by the old rec park off of stadium dr I think. If your coming off Salem st onto stadium dr, go down toward the small bridge and park in that area and follow the flow of the creek. After a bit you’ll be rewarded with some darn good rocks to crawl on. It’s a short hike but well worth it!!

If you park at the end of the cul de sac of Primm circle right by the stairs you can essentially start at the good stuff. Go down the stairs and follow the trail to the right, you’ve got exposed roots, a couple of hills on either side to climb or just huge rocks in a great creek. It’s beautiful scenery to be around while rock climbing. My father in law and I live close enough we can just walk to it and crawl.

Two hour drive for us so it's only an occasion mecca since Anderson is one of the best LHS's in the state, but we'll check it out!

Waterrock Knob and Graveyard Fields are good places to scale crawl on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Also Craggy Gardens seems like it would be good. Went for a walk around up there without a crawler and was thinking the whole time it would've been nice to have one...

Cascades preserve 7359 goodwill church rd kernersville nc. Went there last Sunday after church. Good trail driving and some great water/rock obstacles. Much closer than driving to hanging rock or pilot mountain. Probably going again tomorrow. Great spot for anyone in guilford or Forsyth county.
