upcoming events around RDU?

I ordered my wraith last night and hoping to receive it this week. Any one around the RDU area planning to get together? If delivered, I'll need will to drive it... I'm thinking Umstead or Durant - the big "if" - if it gets delivered.

Wealth isn't goin to be here until 4/1, so I'm going to bag RC this weekend for mt. biking and a trip to the range. If USPS creates a miracle and gets it here Friday, I'll update this post.

My RC days go back to a Hornet and Blackfoot. This is going to be a source of fun for my boys (5&6) and I. I want to rip around, but also do some crawling, jumping, etc.

I have a full linkset, high torque servo and aluminum servo arm. Last things I want to replace are the axles.

I'm a long-ago Hornet alum also and just getting back into it. Just finished an SC10 4x4 build and I'm about to order a Wraith kit for my next one. It will be my first crawler. Should be up and running by mid-April or so. Would be interested in a meet-up if you guys are planning one anytime soon.

Give me another 2 weeks. Just ordered my Wraith kit and a bunch of mods and should be getting everything in by the end of the week. Will need a few days to get it assembled and then I'll be ready.

We're going to Haw again this coming Saturday at 10:00am. It was good this past weekend and the water was low enough to enjoy all of the trail. The river was still a little high to go out on the rocks out there though.

All electronics will be waterproofed, and the Flying Dutchman trays should be coming within the next couple of weeks for battery forward placement and additional water protection. In the meantime, not sure if I'll go battery back or forward.

I'm finally up and running. The build went well, it's a blast to run, and it takes a beating without breaking a sweat. I'm game to meet up one of these coming weekends if anyone is up for it.
