Hello everyone, I am proud to present to you the SORCCA Cash Crawl mini series.

This post is for the purpose of gathering info on the amount of people who would be interested in the events. And an official post will be made in a week or so.

This event series is designed to give people a chance to give SORCCA a chance or a second chance for those who tried it once and didn’t like it. It can be really challenging yet fun especially when around people you already know.
As of right now we will have 3 separate events planned at different locations that will be a cost of $15 per event for CLASS 2 rigs.This will run as a points series and the top 3 at the end of the 3rd round will have a CASH prize.Half of your entry fee ($7.50)will go directly into the “pot” for the cash payout in class 2.The payout will be divided as follows.
1st place (60%)2nd place (25%)3rd place (15%)of the total “pot money”
This is mainly a class 2 SORCCA based event and all class 2 SORCCA rules will apply.
Class 1 and Class 3 rigs will be able to run for a lesser fee of ($7.50) per entry but will not be eligible for the cash payout, scores will be kept up with for trophy give away at end of third round.
Food Will NOT be provided at this event
I hope to bring on some sponsors for prizes to give away at the last event as well as we will have trophies for each class.
We will be using the 2017 KNOX scale crawlers scale sheet for scale points, which I will provide the pdf file to be able to print as well as have hard copies. Scale points will be subtracted from your final points at the final event and we will have a MAXIMUM of (-50) scale points in all 3 classes.
Courses will consist of 10 gates, 5 min time limit per course and a point out of +40 points per course. If you reach the point out at any time on course or run out of time, time will be stopped and you progress points will be deducted from 40.

12-2-17- Pineneedle Rock park
12-16-17- Cow tippin RC
1-6-18- Area 51 crawling adventure

I'd be interested. But I know right now I won't be able to do the first 2 dates. Not sure yet on next year's date.

Cow Tippin is just north of Elkin
Area 51 is in Trinity

Just letting everyone know this event has been canceled due to lack of interest. Will possibly try this again in the spring when the holidays are not in the mix
