Default Fall crawl for autism!!!

Ok guys if you're interested in coming to this event it will be at area 51 in Trinity NC. Address 1440 Ross wood rd. That is the address to the residence right beside the driveway to turn into the comp. This is not a sorcca comp but more of a fun run. Rules are going to be close to what you see at tiny truck. This is just a temporary banner. We are getting sponsors daily. Please feel free to share this flyer. Thank you.

NICE! I truly wish I could be a part of that. My stepson has Autism - and I'm a misunderstood 54 Year Old, who was JUST diagnosed as having Autism 10 years ago.!!!!
..... And was told that I've had it almost since Birth. It SURE finally explained a LOT of quirks, learning problems and occasional Social Interaction troubles that I've ALWAYS had!!
I can't undo several regrettable things I've done in my earlier years.

I have a small glimmer of hope for some of the Kids you're helping....
Autism is NOT a Damning Sentence! You just NEED to find something that really stimulates your Brain - and you should be able to apply yourself to be the BEST at it!

MORE Teachers NEED to realize that most Kids with Autism - ARE NOT REMEDIAL CASES!! They just have a different learning curve. And they're very easily distracted.
I'd be willing to BET that my IQ was HIGHER than most of my Public School Teachers!!!

I'm not alone. Many others with Autism got to my age, and much older!! I STILL will go into blank Dazes when some people talk to me. I have stuck my foot, DEEP in my mouth - as recently as LAST MONTH!!

I was also able to hold down a few great, challenging Jobs, including building Race Engines!! I even got into the Air Force, as a Jet Engine Maintenance Tech!! (Got my Legs blown up in Kuwait, but it was still exciting!)
It took until I was 33 years old, but after several starts and stops, I finally earned my Degree in Business Management! (I was rather proud of that one!

..... It warms my heart to see people like you, helping Kids with very varying degrees of Development Problems. Try to remember that some of us are STILL Autistic, far into Adulthood.
Thank you!

Diggin' that logo!

In what way will this event benefit those with autism?
Are you donating? If so, please do not donate to Autism Speaks, they're a bunch of idiots why think autism is a disease that has to be cured and that it's caused by vaccines.

Consider Autism Society of America or Organization for Autism Research instead.

We are donating all the proceeds to the Autism Society Of North Carolina. Thanks for the compliment on the logo.
