I am in Oxford and was wondering if there was anyone else out this way? If so, any good spots to go? Have a couple guys from work getting into RC crawling and need some suggestions on where to go, preferably within 1hr of Creedmoor. |

Hey bro, I'm in Raleigh but frequent the Bullock area (about 15 min from Oxford ) I've been looking for clubs/ communities in the area but have not found any thus far. would like to establish some organized events in the area. My mom lives that way and has a nice creek on the property with some pretty technical spots and even started to build a crawling course there but not aware of any other good spots. I've come across a few nice spots in raleigh. NCMA is one of my favorites.

A year later, but I'm here in Henderson and also looking for others in this area to get together with. Have a crawling brother in Roxboro. I been trailing and crawling mostly at Kerr Lake parks or his neighborhood in Roxboro, but also some in Creedmoor area close to the job. Know a couple guys at my work with crawlers, but I think they are like myself - don't know too many people or places to go. Sometimes we crawl a little on breaks, but 30 minute lunch don't allow for much. If you guys still there, or anyone else in this area, chime in and lets get something going! ![]() PS - I have no issue travelling an hour or more for fun on weekends, so I have no issues going to Raleigh, Durham, Wake Forest, etc. if there's a good crawling spot and some folks want meet up! Hey! From Goldsboro, saw some of you folks are from around Raleigh and creedmoor. I have 2 other friends with a few rigs as well and always looking for new spots to hit and new folks to meet. Usually breaking quarantine to crawl Saturdays- Mondays. Let me know if any events pop up or if anyone wants to hit some trails! PS: We're near cliffs of the neuse state park with a few decent trails and a pretty rad creek to crawl up. |

It is kinda a haul for anyone north and east of Raleigh but the trail off the Haw River canoe launch west of Jordan Lake is probably the best terrain in the area. There is never more than 1 or 2 people out on the trail and if you go when the river is low, there are a ton more lines to hit. https://goo.gl/maps/DGS3G2fknw93wzE57 ![]() ![]() ![]() |
