| NDRCRC Buildoff idea
Alright guys lets end this long winter that weve had with a little something fun! Ive wanted to build one of these for a while and i have a xtra scx laying around so i figured it was time. I was talking to chad and hes been talking bout building one of these too so i figured how fun would it be to have a little build off! Heres wut we will be building Really the only rules unless somebody else has any thoughts would be you have to use the rjspeed body and 1.9 tires nothing too big tamiya size is what we were thinkin. Heres the body http://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/rjs1024.htm Then we can just set a date when the trucks have to be done and have them voted on here. Then we can set a date to run them at one of our local ice rinks. Then for summer we can run them and have hill climbs, mud racing, sand drags. WHOS IN? |

Jus take that xtra square tubing that you bought for the brute heat it and bend it to the shape you want and split it in two ta da chassis! Thats prolly what i will end up doing if i remember the rj body is pretty short and i dont want to cut up the scx that i got. |

Got my body last nite started some mock up. Today i bent up a few bars for the roll cage and started studding the tires. Hopefully i can get the roof cut off and get the body mounted to the chassis.

Found this from back in the day i think we should do this again. and if not on ice jus use the stock tamiya tires on a cement floor. Any takers? |

silver cans arent too bad for power and they are very efficiant. I like the idea of converting them to foff trucks for summer or sand rails and have sand drags or sud runs mud runs whatever no i dont think that matters. but i think it should be built off of a frame rail or tube chassis but thats jus me | ||
