beulah fair in june updates
 

Just got done with the county fair board meeting. heres what got decided; we will have two sets of trophies (two classes), we would like to have you guys come in on saturday morning and run from 10am till 2pm. two trailers will be ok to bring in and you will have power for battery chargers and tools. the fair runs from thursday june 21 till sunday the 24th. we would like to put you on the schedule for the 23rd. also it would be scheduled as an exhibition not an open comp. unless you guys want it to be open to the public to bring in trucks and run. and your crew would be in charge of your own show. please let me know right away if this would work for enough guys to run a comp of two classes. I need to know by the 30th for it to be scheduled.

it MIGHT find another sucker to join for regular events....

I was in SW Florida this winter and while I was there I went to a local RC sailboat race. After watching for awhile a guy let me take the reigns to his boat. I had a blast driving it and if I was living there I would have definitely bought one and joined their local club. If we could come up with a couple loner trucks to let people try out it could be pretty beneficial"thumbsup"

I'm really hoping I can make it to this, but I run on oilfield time so nothing is definite.

Any way to advertise that? A "fair flyer" or tell the person(s) in charge who may speak to the newspaper?

it will be on the fair bill and advertised through them however if you have anyone in mind you probably want to tell them. what classes should we run?

ok final decision time for classes so i can order trophies, you can pic two. I think full size 2.2 and maybe scalers, however its up to you guys if you want minis instead. i think though people would love to see the scalers too, so even if you just had them to exhibit with that would be all right too. next thing is when do you want to bring in your trailers. you can do it on the morning of before you start or bring it in some time before. our set up night will be on the 19th of June. you guys are on the schedule from 10:30 am till 2pm on Saturday the 23 of June. so recap i need to know this week what classes to order trophies for and how you want them inscribed. thanks again
