koh rules 2013 discussion thread what rule changes does people want to see for next season koh 1 i'd like to see assists being rewarded more 2 act of god penilty 5 min? so build winches 3 1.9 class more class 2 type and a wild class those are the ideas I was thinking. will have a vote on changes so post up ideas |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread I'll take Thomas for the win....... |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread so no changes? |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread My take on things Gate brush: no penalty Gate CRUSH: 1 minute Assist other driver; Push or bump: minus 1 minute Winch or tow: minus 3 minutes Co-driver assists allowed (no more bungee assists); Winch anchor: no penalty Roll over assist: 1 minute Finger on hood or tail to weight :30seconds MUST HAVES TO COMPETE 1.9 tires in 1.9 class (no rear steer) 2.2 tires in 2.2 class (Marc :P) (rear steer allowed) Functioning winch of SCALE speed and power (no big block diesel trans winches) Scale hook on winch, no permanent pull pals as hooks 3 scale items excluding mandatory winch of scale speed and power No MOA No whining |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread Forgot to add a limit on winch line length. I think 5ft is ridiculous. 3 or 4 ft seems feasible. |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread I have never competed in this class with you guys. But reading the posts here it all looks good. As for the length of winch line, most Warn winches come with 80 to 125 feet of cable. In scale that is 8 to 12 1/2 feet of line. On my scaler, the Descender, I have about 10' of line on it. Just my .02 cents on the subject. Maybe next summer I will be able to make more than one event..."thumbsup" |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread think were leaning toward one class and only 3 races. 1.9 tires wild class 2 with class 3 chassis or body. we need to remember this is a race. courses will be more doable, and did you guys want to incorparaite scale points to subtract time? does anyone else want to put two cents in on this? |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread dave whats the point of making so much money if you can't enjoy spending it? get out here and crawl next year or if we get course done winter mini comp season haha |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread mini? You're a funny guy there Thomas... :lmao::lmao::lmao: |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread Quote:
i can go with the scale length. |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread oh and as for extra points for scale accessories, imo the 3 mandatory are enough.. we should score on driving not on how flashy the rig is... |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread My thought is use 801rc rules for ultra 4 |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread 801 rcc rules but north dakota changes are -3 mins for assists +1 for cones +5 mins penalty for act of god so bring winches the first race is going to be april 21st after the 2.2 and mini comps that day comp area is east of peeble beach at beulah bay get your rigs ready everyone come out and check it out will post directions alittle later its the last points comp for mini winter so worth 1 1/2 points any questions ask now |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread forgot for the ultra 4 race only class is 1.9, unless people want to run a 2.2 class. but it will be a long day then |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread If I gotta bring home a bunch of charged batteries and no flat ones I'm gonna be PISSED! |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread All my junk is 1.5's but I will try to be there and see this go down if no work. I'll have to order some 1.9's because I'd like to try to get involved in some of this fun! |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread you can run your 1.5 just can't be bigger then a 1.9 tire. come have some fun |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread Awesome, I hope I don't end up working that weekend! |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread I have no issues with long days and I've put a lot of time into my wraith, so I'd like to run a 1.9 class as well as 2.2 |
Re: koh rules 2013 discussion thread I think your crazy thomass14 but love it. Doing the comps with you is a blast |
