someone brought up the idea of running a sportsman class at the comps this summer. how many want to do this? and scott chris and mike wanted to run there 2.2 scalers in the class. i'm in to building a sportsman rig

Sportsman is just oversized minis. No one makes a MOA, mini, or sportsman rig anymore to even start. I have a invested in a MOA and a mini, I'm not buying a sportsman rig as well. IMO if its too SCARY to run MOA or mini then don't comp with the crawlers. As for a 2.2 class that runs scalers/ "southern buggies" in a comp format, sure why not. 1.9 scalers take precedence and are the main rigs we run in our scaling events such as the ultra4.
