| summer points serie's?????
so we got quite a few clubs around here anyone else down for a point series among the clubs? it wouldnt have to be new dates we could use one's that are all ready set for each group. I figure we have NOSTR wpac tristate and the michigan guy's that could hit at least one event from each group. maybe have one buy week since michigan guys would have a heck of a drive to most of tristate events and vice a versa. if there are any other clubs then they can speak up and they could join into. any thoughts suggestions |

So what did you have in mind Sloppy? Say Tri-state has something June 7th, Then Wpac, NOSTR and the Mi crew tries to make it out to the Tri-state event on the 7th? We keep track of the scores from that event for the point series. Then Maybe June 21st Wpac has an event. NOSTR, MI crew and Tri-state shows up at the Wpac event and the same thing happens? 1 event per group or something? |

I wouldn't mind a state championship between NOSTR, TSC and any other Ohio clubs. Let the top 3 in each class from each club go and meet on neutral ground.

There may be a Ohio Champs thing in the works. Don't have any firm information, but is in discussion. I would agree that this would be a great idea. Maybe an event at all 4 corners of Ohio. One up near Cleveland, One up near Toledo, One near Cinci, one near us in Marietta. This way its not completly out of the way for anyone and the regular runners at each group would not have far to travel for there regular comp and the die hard guys can get to each within 3-4 hours. What classes are you guys talking. Most of the guys from Tri-State and WPAC run 2.2 comp and Supers. Most of those guys only dabel in the Scale stuff. I would be up for it. Just not sure if the others would be interested in getting this off the ground. keep in mind that Tri-State doesn't charge for comps, Wpac does. That throws in a whole nother problem. If at anytime I can help to get this up and organized, I will try my best. |

I can't speak for everyone but I am pretty sure NOSTR doesn't plan on charging for comps either unless it is at Freddie's

nick yeah that is what i had in mind. i wasnt really thinking make it a OHIO thing as much as a local club thing wpac and michigan guys are not really all ohio. heck maybe the new york guys get in on a couple of them. tom if we goto a club event that charges then we have to pay there this would just be like going to any event just the people that get in on it would be running for points we just need to decide how to diffy up points among the group. and i am down for 2.2 or whatever we agree on to run. I didnt really want to turn this into a club battle just a point series among people in the different groups it would give us all more reason to travel to the different areas warmer sounds better to me to. that ohio champ thing sound sweet i am in for that to. |

I've heard a little about the ohio champ deal.......might look into the cincy one. I have some family near so I can camp there. I'll link this thread over in the MI section. But our "club" lacks leadership and organization. Will you still accept walk on clubless crawlers??? |

The NOSTR crew runs mostly 2.2, and a lot of 1.9/2.2 scale. Only one Super turned a wheel on a rock last year but that may change. We're also starting up a 1.9 Unlimited class (10.5 WB, 5-inch max tire size (that's max, not suggested), rear steer or dig but not both). Sort of an "affordable super" class. Cory, if you don't like the cold, come on up to Freddies and crawl indoors. It's nice and toasty when he remembers to turn on the heat |
