| Ohio's Creek Crawl Pictures June 4th
Great time! Not many crazy flex shots, but whatever. I was busy driving! Everything was wet, and/or covered in moss. The deep water spots were fun. I wasn't sure if I wanted the body that high on mine, but after tumbling a few times landing upside down, I'm glad it was, it kept the ESC/RX dry. Looks like AdamFffff didn't get any pictures of his truck taken, I wonder why? Just kidding bro. ;) Bling baby! Best battery mount location I've ever seen. ;) This TLT was very impressive, surprised me a few times. My Xtreme got a name after that day. Thanks guys. Looks like a little faster shutter speed would have helped. Or a real camera |

Great pictures guys! Thanks for all of your efforts Twisted, you better hope JIA doesn't hear about your fall, he won't let you live it down after all of the grief you have given him about his "falling" at GR. Once again, a great day of crawling at an excellent sight. Can't wait to go back. |

Finally tore into the gearbox to see why the front diff opened up. I was hoping it was a wheel, but it can't be that easy. While back I sprayed a lot of WD-40 in the gearcase for "waterproofing". Maybe that's why the two gears popped off the center gear? |

So you sprayed WD and THEN put the jb weld in there? JB wont stick to WD so I'm not surprised the side gears came apart.

Looks like you found the weak link in the transmission. Better get that TXT done since their transmissions are bullet proof.

It's been JB Welded since the very beginning. I sprayed the WB 40 right before I came down to Cincy. The gearcases were really rough feeling, so I doped em up with WD 40. Which didn't help. I completely tore everything apart, and cleaned them up, and lubed everything. I grabbed my buddy's diff, and put it back together. Still rough though. No idea... Ready for July 16th! |
