| T.S.R.C.R.C. Tri State Remote Control Rock Crawlers (OH IN KY) **new web address**
At the "Ohio Get Together" we were wanting to start a "club" if you will in our area since there are none close by. One of the names we tossed around was "T.S.R.C.R.C." or "Tri State Remote Control Rock Crawlers". Tri State meaning Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. So for the guys who were at the get together, and for anyone else in OH IN and KY, what do you think? I would say you have to show up to a get together/comp before you can become a member. So for you guys that were there at the get together, please send me your real name, RCC member name, details on your truck, and your favorite picture of your truck to 4runneradam@gmail.com . I've set up a website already at www.tsrcrc.com Check it out, let me know what you think, or if one of you guys are better at designing a website, go ahead, let me know. I updated the members page. I'm still waiting for Jeremy, Doug, and Cory. FYI the www.tsrcrc.co.nr is not working right now for some reason, so you can go straight to my site from www.toyotaoffroad.net/afertig/tsrcrc |

Gentlemen, If we are going to have another get together we should probably start the planning process now. The last one took well over a month to get organized so if we are going to get new members before we kick some S.E.R.C.R.C butt at GR we need to get something going. I will throw out a date of July 16 just to get things going. Not sure of a location somewhere near Cinc. Colmbus or Indy. Thi=oughts? |

Kevin, you call that organized? We all need to go out scouting the parks and such and find a nice spot.. need to borrow my buddys' boat so i can cruise up and down the rivers and try and get lucky to find a place like GR but once i get my pond area finished, i will have all you guys over at my place to play. I'll fire up the grill, the fire pit, radio, turn the waterfall lights on and grab a beer not sure exactly where you guys are, but i'm only like 25-30 mins from the indiana border( if that) |

I agree it is not very well organized, just wanted to get the discussion going about the next get together or comp. Also agree about scouting out some new locations. Kris and I are both on the northwest sie of Indy, about 2 hours from Cinc. and three from Columbus. We will need to find someplace worht the travel time for everyone. |

yeah, i dont think its fair to have you guys or cory drive 2+ hours everytime we want to hook up... i need to go up to Hueston woods and look around.. that's in the middle basically of you guys and cory and probably about an hour from me. I'll go scouting when i don't have ballgames and crap.. i would like to find a place somewhere in the middle of everyone that we can set in stone as the place to go.. |

If you guys want more organized, I can do it. I've had quite a few parties down on the field where we parked. We can have a huge bonfire, grill out, volleyball/badmittion, and I can even be a DJ and bring my stereo out there.

I agree with Cory and Jeremy. It was well worth my time to driver there but we still need to find other possible locations. Give me a place to park and BS after running the truck and I am happy. Jeremy, after you left we discussed the idea about running the trucks uphill abd then turning around and possibly going past the tires. There is a large park near my house that I will check out this weekend. |

sounds like a plan.... yeah no need to do all that adam.. just a shady spot to charge my shit and i'm good to go... When i get the pond/waterfall area done, we can grill out here, party, music, and have a small comp..plus i'll have all the tools and such to fix whatever breaks, adam, you know where that shed is Kevin- put chris and his" parks truck" to work I know a guy that works for the county also that tests the water and stuff for all the companys. so he may know where some nice spots are.. |
