Hey man, welcome to the forum, I live in new albany as well. There are several of us around your area.

What kind of rig are you shopping for? Comp crawler, scaler?

I plan on going COMP. This is my shoping list so far!

Axial AX10 Kit
Spektrum DX3R Radio
Goat Brushless System
Novak Goat Crawler Brushless ESC
18.5-Turn crawler sintered Brushless Motor
Hitec HS-5955 TG

I was wondering what else I will need to purchase, I plan on purchasing various aluminum parts etc for the AX10. I also need to know what I need to purchase to have my truck powered by Li-Po.

I live just out of N Albany near Morse and Hamilton. I would save the cash from the goat system scrap the axial and buy a MOA set up {motor on axle} and run brushed. I think that the Berg is the best option but thats just me. That will give you a heavy duty rig that you can spend your time driving and not fixing.

Your best bet would be to come out to a tuesday night comp:
Tuesday Night, Indoor Crawling at Cowboys

There are alot guys with different trucks tocheck out and everyone is willing to help out. I think 6:30 is the new get together time but we will be there till near 11 so stop out and pick the guys brains.

No but TCSCRAWLERS.COM has them on sale right now [look under "Enroute"]. I had great results with the stock kit. The only change you will want to make to start is a different set of rims that will narrow your stance. Stock will work but leaves you a bit wide. I like the Mehem Berg rims you can find them in the vender section on this forum. It is a sweet truck.
