| starting a cincy crawl course...
well the title says it all. i talked the owner of BSR racing(hobby shop on route 4, in between hamilton and fairfield) and he wants to build a crawl course. i talked to him and told him i'd post here and get some input from the southern ohio crawlers. i'm trying to see who all will help put together a course at the hobby shop. maybe good ol' tri-state crawlers will be willing to help out. i don't know if he has enough room inside but getting an indoor course put together to comp/play on in the winter time would be nice. anyone willing to help? |

From the only time I was in there, he doesn't have the room needed from what I seen. But if he is wanting info, I'm pretty sure I could make the 3 min. drive up there What's the owners name? |

I just stumbled across this thread and thought I might update you all. As far as I know, Tri-State Crawlers is not going to do anything. I myself race onroad @ Johns shop. I had my crawler in there with me the other day and he aproached me about it. I agreed to lend a hand in building an indoor course. We are going to take up some pit space. It will be a little bigger than Cowboy's Carbo & TC. I think the club club should help out and possibly work something out with John but I do not belive TC wants to and that is fine. I took it upon myself to halp as an individual. We have set a goal to have a course by the end of January. Any help would be appreciated. |

Very good Dan, way to step up. You must be the one talking to my buddy Mista Bone, I call him Boner, his name is Chip Tague. Oh what to say about him! |

When I talked to him, he told me that we could only do it mon-wed. They did flying inside on Thursday, something on Friday, then raced on the weekends. He also wanted a guaranteed commitment # of guys to show up each week before he would do it and I could not promise that to him.

Amen.....It is like these grocery stores with the self checkout lanes. You should get a discount on your goods if you have to ring them up yourself. |

I already make the trip down during the carpet season, I'd travel down to Crawl in the Summer as well. Build it and we will come |
