Default Indoor micro crawling points series

We are about to begin an indoor micro crawler points series at sluggers located in Mansfield Oh. This will be held on Wed nights throughout the winter and is set to begin on Feb third with a gtg to discuss class rules and to become acquainted with scoring and the course. There will initially be 2 classes, stock and Mod crawlers. If there is enough interest a third scale class will be added. Sluggers is located at 1964 ashland rd mansfield oh 44905. There is on site food and drinks as well as an on site hobby shop. any questions shoot me a PM or call me at 419 651 7997. The course will be up next week for those interested in giving it a once over. Hope to see you there.

How did I not know there was a hobby shop there? Is this the place with the putt putt and batting cages? I live right down 30 towards Wooster. Do they have the BND Micros in stock? I know I should just order one, but that takes too much dedication.

It's the course that Bull built in his basement. Here is his original thread about it
Mount Me Crawler Course

This is him running his micros on it.

And I have to say that the shop there really surprised me. First, I never even knew it was there (still can't get over that) and then I ask them to order me a micro and it's cheaper out the door than I could order it myself, anywhere. Oh yeah, and the owner is practically my neighbor.

here are the rules i came up with

gates 6 inches apart,

Stock Rules

Must use stock

motor
esc/rec
motor/tranny
axles
tires
links
servo
skid
shocks

no 4ws allowed

will allow any springs

I still havnt decided on lipo yet.

Mod Rules

Max W.B. 127mm (5")
Max Track 120 mm (4.75")
Max Tire Height 42mm (1.65")

no 4ws

Alright damnit, if we say 5 and you guys are getting there at 3-3:30 ish I'm getting there then too. Early bird gets the worm. I'm going to try a weekly progress with mine so I'll see a progression, hopefully. Next week I hope to ditch the stock chassis.

Good lord. Mine is already in pieces. We'll have to see if all of the pieces are still there and end up where they are supposed to. Operation wood chipper, BEGIN!
