I might. All day last Sunday I wasn't feeling the current electronics set up of the LR3. Not that it doesn't work, because it works pretty good, but I have so much shit here that I want to try other shit out.

I'm using a 2 cell lipo and Tekin BR-1 with no BEC (which has somehow managed to not go up in flames), and a Integy 35 turn motor with more miles than I can count. I've fried four or five BR-1s in the past, as they're only 30 amp ESCs, which is not much at all.

So yeah, maybe.

I use the wooden floors in my apartment building in the other room where I can't see them.

If you use a balancer, and lipo cut off, shouldnt have explosions.... or be like me, and do niether and just charge in a small clay pot full of pea gravel at home or indoors. Ive fried a 3s in it and all the gravel does is smoke a bit.

Default Sweet new place to scale

Some friends and I found a bad@$$ place to scale near Hoover Reservoir. Take Sunburn rd north from 161, turn right, east, on Central College rd. Then left, north, on Cabbage rd. At stop sign turn right, east, on E. Walnut St. Approx. 1/4 mile on left is a gravel parking lot. When pulling in there is a path on your right, east. Follow path north to creek bed. The entire are has creeks, runoff ditches, ravines, mud, gravel, sand, rocks and hills. I am going to begin establishing trails over the next few weeks. This place is far better than Glen Echo with way more diversity.

Easy now. I haven't even seen you out at echo for more than a few minuets I'm sure there is a lot of great spots out there but Eco is home to some of us and we have put in a lot of work making trails that will be hard to beat.
I'm up for checking it out though. You can never have enough good scalin spots

Actually, I've spent alot of time at echo, but on weekdays because of my work schedule. The work you guys put in is outstanding, but this new place has WAY more potential and variety.
