The most of this thread is old, but...

got 2 new scale crawlers and a returner to the scene here in Toledo...

any peoples, places close to here? I just googled Van Buren and that's a 45 minute ride.. so unless it's spectacular it probably will not be happening other than maybe once to see it. I stopped racing go fast RC's due to the hour+/- drive to and from the only decent winter track..

I've been kicking around the idea of putting in a course in the basement... but think with my idea's its going in the back yard, so it can be bigger. (less area to mow in the summer too!)

Anyone wanna sound off roll call style to see who's out there still?

Welcome back. Just about every time I've been to VB, we've trailed on average 5-7 hours. A few of the local guys have been working on cutting new trails just for our rigs, so it's only going to get better.

I'm an hour away from VB, located southwest of Lima in St. Marys.

We have a couple Facebook groups, one that is Northwest Ohio specific and on that encompasses all of Ohio.

Van Buren is tons of fun, just like what Devil Inc said some of us around the VB area are working on some new trails so we can cater to our needs or wants. I don't know of any place in the Toledo area for trailing or crawling (besides hobbytown) so I would say just make a trip down to check it out.

Pit Stop Hobby Shop and NWOSRC are putting on a trail day at Van Buren State Park on July 13th. All are welcome to join in on the fun. If you're interested in joining us, let me know and I'll dig up the address to the parking lot where we meet at.
