Re: Northwest area Yeah, my daughter can't wait to get her truck built. I think it'd be interesting going one way through the trail and then coming back through the opposite way. I think we should set up some gates the next time we GTG. And I have a new spot I'm gonna try checking out this week or next. It's about 6 miles north of this place. "thumbsup" |

Re: Northwest area Well, the family and I rolled up to the other place I wanted to check out, Kendrick Woods. It's big, but it doesn't have the "rough" stuff to make it worth getting together for. I'm game for next weekend, where do we want to meet up at? Do we want to have a go at Fort Amanda State Park? Any other places? |

Re: Northwest area If you're wanting to do the scaler thing, you'd honestly be better getting a CC01 ,CR01, SCX10, or Wraith. Those are gonna be better out of the box. I'm sure the Redcat can be made to perform well, but it's a MOA like a Bully/Berg/XR10. Not really a scaler by any means. You could always keep an eye out for a roller in good shape and sacrifice the Venom Creeper for it's electronics. Hope that helps. |
Re: Northwest area naaa i would buy electronics for the other one that way the wifie can drive one also, i would have to get her a air plain style controller though she doesnt get the one with the wheel lol but if you hear of anyone selling for one of the things on your list there for CHEAP let me know! lol i will be interested in the wraith the most i like them considering they seems pretty willing to be beat :p |

Re: Northwest area Doing good here, been slowly moving along on my daughter's truck. Got the last of the major stuff last night, still will probably have to pick up some odds and ends here and there. But other than that, been busy with the family and work. Will and I did a lil quarry run in the stone quarry north of town, it was fun. I wish I had a spot for a big course, I seen plenty of good rock for one. LOL |
