Tuesday Night Crawling at The Boulder House

How does a box stock Honcho do on this course? I was checking it out last Wednesday and am thinking about coming over tomorrow to hang out. Debating on bringing my truck or not.

Won't be much competition for the comp crawlers but it will be fun. Its impressive what the honchos will do.

I've learned that I don't want to spend enough to be competitive, having fun is cheaper.

I look forward to finding out what changes to the honcho might make it more fun on the rocks or more reliable.

So do you guys do the comps on Tuesday nights or is it more of a practice GTG thing? I'm from Dayton and am fairly new to crawling and I'd like to meet some other guys into the hobby.

They're doing comps. Sure it's a GTG hang out, but by all means they lay down the gates and run the courses. More laid back than the Points Series they run, but still, they're there to compete. It's a fun time either way.

Being in Dayton you very much need to get over to Oakes Quarry off of 65 just south of 70. Best rocks in Ohio.

I usually get there earlier when I'm not working, 3-4 or so, get the most for my money, practice and tweak until everyone else shows up. They are open all day, the rocks and gates are there. Anyone that wants to go in and use the rocks can do so any time En is open. We just do our club gtg/practice comps (anyone welcome, not just for club members)Tuesdays and Saturdays.

As for the SCX, it isn't much different than the AX I run.

Also everyone.....club renewal fees are now overdue. If you still wish to remain a club member in good standing, please have your fees with you tomorrow night. There is no late fee, but your entry fees and crawling fees will reflect non member status.
