Central Ohio Crawlers Spring Summer 2018 Point Series
 

This will be the official thread for our Summer Point Series. Which will run March through September.


All are invited
There will be 7 events with 2 throw aways. This means we will take the best 5 event scores and that will be your final series score. We will continue with the weekend / AM schedule as done in the past, holding each event on Sundays.


For this series:

-We will be running three classes this series 2.2 Pro/Mod, 2.2 Sporty and 1.9 Mini
(We may do some scale/trail stuff if time permits)

-We will be using USRCCA national rules for these events

-We will be comping at 9am on Sundays (1.9 mini class first)

-We will be using the current national rules for progress (-2 per gate, Not Progressive Scoring). We will NOT be using the 20pt and carry rule option in this series.


There will be one spotter and one judge per driver per course. We need spotters and judges to be proactive and cognizant of the driver and course they are judging. Please pay attention and position yourself in a way you can effectively see all obstacles/gates. We will also designate a Course Marshal for each event, who will be chosen from the C.O.C. members in attendance at the event.


These events are meant to be fun and we want to keep it that way, but we also need to make sure everyone is getting the same fair judging as everyone else.


Again, non-COC members and all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. We have a wide range of knowledge and are always willing and eager to help a newbie out with rig setup or driving tips. Hope to see you soon!!!
