I dunno, the van wert area is pretty flat, lol. Not much better around me though. We've got the river and aqueducts to run around. I haven't had a chance to scout any spots yet, hopefully in the spring.

There is a group of 5 or so that are local to me. Not sure how often they meet, the 1 guy I've talked to a few times on here isn't on very often. So mostly it's just me with my scx10 and my neighbor and his wraith, mini summit, and 4x4 slash.

Novak Rooster Crawler is a good start for a brushed, they can be had pretty cheap. Then there's the AWESOME HH TorqueMaster BR-XL, it'll run 6S and is programmable with a CastleLink.

A used Rooster Crawler is around the $30-45 mark, new about $90. BR-XL is probably $80ish used and $100 new or $110 new (waterproofed). Those are just for brushed motors. If you decide to go brushless there are others, myself, I'm still brushed so can't really help you other than you need to look at a sensored BL if you plan on having/needing good low speed control.

If you got a spare $20 and PayPal, you can always buy a supporter star so you can view the classifieds on here.

I think you have to wait the 30 days and have 30 "meaningful" posts before you'll be able to view them. Unless you decide to start a PayPal account. Probably 99% of the members deal with PayPal on here, wouldn't be a horrible idea to open an account if you can.

Awesome, I'm running a SCX10 and my friend would probably be running his Wraith. I do have another set of axial axles, they just need a few bearings and ring/pinion gears. Then all I need is a transmission and I can rebuild me a shafty comp crawler to run.

Who knows with tax time approaching, I might just build a rig up, buy a new rig, and then have 3 to run. LOL
