My dad use to take me to turna falls every couple of summers.

There was rock everywhere as I recall, and caves and crap too.
maybe there is a website or something that has pics,I'll do some searching.

Well as I recall we did some exploring without actually entering the park too.

It might make for a good "scouting trip/family weekend" to see what else the park and surounding area has to offer.

I think that its close enough maybe some of us texans could make the trip
up.I know I would try and,the guys in gainsville and dallas are much closer
than me.

There sould be plenty of places to crawl around there. Years ago we used to go camping up there. Fun place but gets really crowded on the weekends and I recall.

Yea,Thats the turner falls area,Have to pay to get in.The place is a mad house during the summer. We will make a trip down this summer and see if we can get to the area above it without having to pay. I would like to find a place so we can get you guys to come up for one of our comps.

I wont mind payin to get in,I do wonder if they would freak out when the see us on the rocks with rc's though.
I'm thinking the general area may have something to offer too.
I have been looking at maps, and the is a place called mountain lake
(that sounds good) and the area around it looks promissing.
also a touch north west of t.f. is some areas that look good maybe.

I wish I could find a better map,but so far this is the best I have found

That is a cool website! Nice rock too! Most folks just get distracted with the casinos in that part of the state!

The park would be OK with the rc's and the first place is above the falls where we would have the best access to places to comp but it costs like
10.50 ea to get in.We'll get up there and find a place if you all are interested in comming up.
