Most everyone that started OKRCRC have stopped coming because we are all over the state. They have to drive aways to come. Economy has taken its toll and alot have lost interest. There are at least 3 of us that are still doing comps but with no interest here we have been going to big comps all over the country. One of us is deployed now but we would like to get some interest here in Okla. We have tried to make the comps convenient for everyone but its hard to make them convenient for everyone every time. I am in Okla. city and Chad is in Enid, we have folks in Tulsa, Ardmore, Lawton and so on. We have a web site: http://www.okrcrc.com/forum If you all are really interested in competing, Please let us know. We will be more then happy to get together with you. Sincerely CD |

Hello all, first post, new guy from Broken Arrow area. Thinking about making a trip out to check this out, but wondering if I could get a little info. I'd love to come out and just learn a little bit more and see what the comps are all about. I have just completed building a CC-01 that's mostly stock, so it's not much of a competitor, I like the scale looks of it. Anyway, the info I'm looking for, how are the roads getting into the park where the comp is, my car is low, not much for the offroad. And would it be any problem if while hanging out I took some video, I like to video things and make short movies / promos. Thanks! |

Hey jay, We would be glad to have ya come out. We will meet at Hogan's camp grounds that have paved roads to it. As far as the comp site, we havn't made a discision I don't think. Some of the trail roads do start good but the futher down can get rough. If you will meet Chad and I at Hogan's by 7:30 you can catch a ride. Quote:
