I'm trying to get a couple of people together for the Robbers cave comp, but we all have honcho's and wraiths. Where are you thinking the scale comp would be?

I may be able to make the Robbers Cave comp. Thats not too far from here and the wife and kids would like to go back there, if there is anything for them to do in March. Hopefully I can get the dang drive lines to stay attached before then, may have to find a way to drill in a small groove on the tranny shafts for that set screw. How long does a single run last in a comp? I've currently ony got 2 batteries for my Axial.

usually each course is timed. 5 minute time limit. usually! i'm sure there will be guys with battery chargers there so if you run low you can throw them on the charger. hell chad's charger will do 4 batteries at a time. he's a hi roller!!!

We'll run the scalers at Robbers Cave after the comp so come on out.
I was thinking we all get together some nice weekend and have a just scaler comp. Trail, obstacles, rock course. 2.2 guys can score the 1.9 guys and then swap. Make the course one long trail with the buddy system for winching or helping your buddy through the course. No hand of god deal, you roll over someone has to winch, pull ya back on your wheels. We can work out the details, when and where, just checking interest.

OK, Now here's the next question. Here's the Scale Rules for SORCCA.
2012 SORCCA Scale Rules

Check them out and let us know how you feel. I'm not interested in hauling a bunch of junk for points. But if that’s what ya like to do lets here it. As far as I'm concerned we run what ya got, only separate the 1.9 and 2.2 trucks. I think the 2.2's will be able to run the course faster with less problems then the 1.9's so to make it fair we'll separate them. Then follow the Course points and penalties rules.
What do you think?
