| Going crawling tomorrow!
Headed back to Wister lake tomorrow with a couple of guys to test out the new mods to the SCX10, Wraith, and to take out my Samurai for the first time. Also have a new radio (DX3C) to try out with the Sammy, so it ought to be interesting. Pics and video tomorrow evening! |

We had a blast today, took some Video and took some pics. Eastern Oklahoma has a lot of places to crawl, from really easy to impossible stuff, all within a half hour from the house. Rynes Honcho with the new Pitbulls and Axial links. On the trail... The Honcho is 100% better than it was in stock form. (Jeep Comanche body in the works!) My Wraith, unstoppable today! The Sammy has got to be the funnest RC I have ever drove Hoghead5150 and Ryne, the Mafia Boyz (no pics of me, the FBI might be on here...) All in all, a great day. Didn't break anything and we had a hell of a good time! |

| Re: Going crawling tomorrow! Well, if you get bored Sunday come on out and you can drive a custom Honcho, a couple of bad ass Wraiths, and a scale 1.55" Sammy. We are just a bunch (3) guys learning as we go!

We found a couple of new places to crawl today, but we forgot the camera.. Took this with my cell, the spillway at Lake Wister, awesome place to crawl, so far the Corp of engineers hasn't run us off! |

When's the next time you guys are going? This weekend is the holidays and so is the next. I'm normally free every other weekend, next weekend being the free weekend. This time it happens to fall on a holiday, but you get the idea lol. Anyways, surely in 3 weeks I'll have a servo, ESC, and BEC researched and bought. I'm just trying to see what kind of terrain others play around on and decide.

no telling when we will go again! i can go pretty much anytime. i'm off work since this whole back injury thing. by the way, yesterday the doc said i was doing great! my brother works oil field stuff, but he's pretty much the boss, so he's free most weekends. sometimes he's on call tho. that pic doesn't do it much justice. we were about 20 to 25 feet above the rocks when that pic was taken. for reference, if you look to the far side, the concrete wall at the narrowest point is 20 foot high!!! |

if UPS will hurry up! sucks that you pay a ton for shipping and then they are always a day late getting it to you.

I'm about 3hrs into my build and the axles are done, with links and shocks. Tomorrow I start the tranny. It's very tedious work that's for sure. I'll have my servo here by Friday because it was $30 cheaper online and I spoke with GS Hobby and they wouldn't match it, their loss. I'll buy the ESC and BEC there because both won't be a few bucks more but with the $30 on that it was too much. I'll be ready in a couple weeks.

They have made me some pretty awesome deals so I am pretty loyal to them, but $30 is $30! It took me two days to get my XR10 as a roller, just waiting on HogHead to install my electronics and do the soldering and I will be ready! |
