Default Tulsa, ok Turkey Mnt

Any of you Tulsa, Ok guys go out to turkey mnt to run your crawler. Me and a friend of mine go out there when we can to run our ax10's. Lots of trails out there to drive on. Would be fun to have a scale comp out there sometime.

Here is a link to the Turkey months website. It has maps and trail maps also. Basically its off 71st and Elwood. Right by the Arkansas river. There are only 3 marked trails on the months but there are hundreds of unmarked trails. Kinda easy to get lost.

Lots and lots of rocks. I just checked my phone to see if I had any pics. I just noticed I have never taken a pic of my Crawler out there or anywhere for that matter except for the one pic of my parts testing spot.

Not sure what you mean by that. I went to one comp one time a few yrs back in Disney, OK. I had fun but was no near ready to be competitive, just wasn't mine thing. I do plan to go to the g6 comp in Ar that coming up this Sept if I can get my scale truck built by then.

I have crawled around at turkey mt a few times but just around the parking lot on the rocks, didn't really know the trails looked that good might have to head back out sometime soon and try the ax10 once I get it put back together, I just live about 15 mins from there.

Hey just read this post, Yeh there are a ton of trails out there to crawl. We normally find a new one to crawl every time we go out there. I've been going to turkey to ride and run for the past ten yrs so i know the area well. I noticed you live in sapulpa too, so do i. I also have a ax10 that i just got back together and i'm fixing/upgrading my friend ax10 also. You should come out with us the next time we go. I plan to post up the date and time a few days before we go.

Ok man sounds good just let me know and I will see if I can make it out, and I actually live just off highway 33 a little ways but Its still considered sapulpa lol. Yeah I actually just got my ax10 back together also had it all apart and picked up a few cheap parts off ebay and I think I am about were I want to be but I will prolly change my mind about something when I actually start crawling it again. What all do you have done to your ax10. Mine prolly wont be legal in any comps lol I think the wheel base is to long, but I haven't mesured it yet, and it has FWS and Dig.

We don't run comps. all we do is find a line or spot and see who gets up first. For awhile we were basically running stock ax10's, with very few upgrades. Mine now has a holmes hobbies 19t motor, mamba max pro esc, mg 946 servo, some alum hop ups on the front axial, big bore shocks, and a dig that i need a new servo arm for. His has a new servo, better battery placement since he runs huge nimph battery packs, novak rooster esc and bent links.
