From here you can see the park and where to go, plus get soemthing to grease up your stomach(McD's) is right on the corner :o 2092 Clackamette Dr Oregon City, OR 97045 It'd be cool if you did show up.... long ass ways, for a 2-3 hours of wet crawling. |
Re: Sunday, 9-19-2004 ORCRC crawling.... Well I lost my debit and the bank is closed for getting cash I got dogged on a buyer for the bender today for cash money so I have no travel funds. This sucks, I have money, but can't get it. ???? sounds wierd huh. Edit: Well I thought about it and the only way to fix this is to go rain crawling myself. I have a kick ass idea anyway I want to try out and I can't wait for sun.  |
Re: 9-19-2004 ORCRC crawling....PICTURES!! Looks like ya had some fun. Question for ya wet weather guys. How much of a difference do the wet rocks make on tractin. Looks like some of the rocks there are pretty smooth?????????? |

Wet rocks get slick. Some rocks turn into a slip'n'slide. I like the wet ground better as it's more real for me. Here in the PNW the ground is wet a lot, so might as well enjoy it. |

Toyo, I wish I was there, I made some awsome waterfall stye lines and took out the rear drive on the tranny!!! The lines with your truck would be easy, but a 2.2 wheel rig they are insane but doable some day. I am getting a big truck within the week, what do you suggest, I am thinking twin force. That assie rig is awsome too. :? |
Re: 9-19-2004 ORCRC crawling....PICTURES!! Hey Toyo, can you send me this picture in it's original, unresized, uncompressed form? I've got some ideas for it :D http://www.rcrockgear.com/ORCRC/09-19-2004/PICT5178.jpg If so send it to jason@carnagecrew.com Thanks. |
Re: 9-19-2004 ORCRC crawling....PICTURES!! Looks like you guys had a great time.Nice pics, was it just for fun or was it a compition. |

Just a fun run. Have no clue to when the next comp will be. |
Re: 9-19-2004 ORCRC crawling....PICTURES!! Pics look great as usual. The 5" of ground clearance on the maxx crawler kit is insane. That thing should never get hung up. I'm even having a hard time finding a rock to stop my rig with only 4in of ground clearance. |
Re: 9-19-2004 ORCRC crawling....PICTURES!! how do you drive that deep on the frikin water with out fawkin up the servos etc. do you silicone em up or sumtin? ryan |

Buy waterproof servos  Well, the one up front is watertight/proof and the rear is really resistant to water entering. Never an issue. Living in the PNW you have to go prepared :P |
