Few of us showed up to play for a couple hours out at the Lazy M Farms. This place is a great location, if you happen to have a go fast nitro truck or buggy(1/10 or 1/8 ) this is the place for ya too. Two very large tracks to hual arse on and he has a small crawling area that is growing slowly. Anyway I know how much you guys like it when I just type way ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ooh Vance has some high clearance links... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My title was stolen! ![]() ![]() ![]() Less bush is better ![]() ![]() ![]() Now... thanks to Ryan, he has made it to where at least 3-4 other ORCRC guys are out shopping for TLT parts since we decided upon a new class for competitions. SCALE CLASS Few basic rules that have been drafted up today by ORCRC: 1) Must use TLT axles 2) No gear reductions are allowed! 3) Must use a body that looks scale 4) Must have it look scale(axles in the correct places under the body) 5) 2.2 tires but limited to only 3 choices.. swamp dawgs, Geolanders and Mashers 6) Must carry all needed extracting tools on rig(winch, straps, planks, etc) Events will be ran in teams... 2 trucks, 2 drivers = one team. It'll be ran similar to the Team Trophy Challenge that happens every year here in the PNW that draws people from around the world. It's all because of this rig..... that we are out spending $$$$ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Basicly when Ryan brought out the Cruiser everyone stopped what they were doing to watch. Now, we all have to play catch up to his rig! I expect that in the next 2 weeks you all shall see at least 2-3 more scale rigs popping up from the ORCRC gang ![]() |

It'd be nice! My TLT should be here mid-week and I already have my scale chassis with winch bumper bolted in place. Just need a body, extra servo, ESC and some tires/wheels! I hope by the end of the week I'll have something to play with.... my wife gave me a funny look when I told about buying another truck, good thing she doesn't really know how much this all costs ![]()

But those don't as scale.... but after reading Ryan's updated Scale Class rules that we've come up with it seems that he has allowed all 2.2's. We'll just have to see how this class of rigs turn out. Quote:

I'm glad I got folks excited about scale trucks- I think it'll be loads of fun and a nice alternative to the Unlimited trucks! PS: I have just made Tamiya Pajeros legal for the class, as long as no one objects... Ryan |

I was out crawling my Jeep Jero today and It still amazed me.I when allmost every where mt TLT with 2.2 tires would go.I have a winch all ready I just need to figure out a switch so I can have foward and reverse.I think a Jero with 2.2 tires would work real good ,Just not as Scale. The BFG's On the Jero are about as scale as U can Get . Theres Still no other Crawlers Up here .We all got Jeeps ,Now I gotta Get them To built small Scale Jeeps .

Yes. We'd prefer to see bodies that are also some-what common to the rigs that go 1:1 wheelin'. I was thinking about running a Mounty body, just the front cab and fenders and build a flat bed for it..... but I found a better body, one that no one will be running ![]()
