scammed by Colby Cummings in Aumsville OR

Anyone know this guy?? He took $700 from me for a used Savage Flux and he has not shipped anything yet.. I feel like an idiot but this guy sounded trustworthy after the several conversations we had. I have his home address, cell #!! He wont respond to my phone calls or texts and he has my money!! What a turd!!! Please help me out!!

He also claimed that he builds custom tube chassis for crawlers so I thought someone here would know him... Thanks in advance

As a fellow newbie, I can't offer much help. Someone recently heard about Cummins and inquired about him on ORCRC.com, anybody know this guy - Oregon R/C Rock Crawlers. I have listed this thread there in hope somthing will turn up. Getting scammed is the shittiest thing ever (I know from experience,) so hopefully it all works out for you. Any number of things can contribute to his sudden disappearance so don't think the worst just yet.

Hopefully you used Paypal, if so, file a complaint. Keep trying, good luck.

How did you pay him ? PayPal ? If so you can file a complaint that he has never sent the merchandise that you payed for . If he keeps ignoring you , you have his address and all his information , call the local police. I am sure they would love to talk to a guy that has stolen $700 bucks .
Honestly , start looking around before you send someone that kind of money . These dirtbags troll sites like this because people seem to trust other forum members , for no other reason than they are another forum member .

I made the mistake of paying by Western Union!! I know it was stupid!! I have filed reports with IC3 and my local police dept. I also spoke to the corp headquarters for Cash and Go, that is where he picked up the money from. They told me that they will provide the paperwork and video footage of him actually getting the moeny!! I hope something works out! I will let you know! The post master in Aumsville was very helpful. he sent his mail carrier to his house and Colby told him that he knew nothing about a truck being sold to a guy in SC!! What a douche bag!! What goes around comes around!!
