Scale Endurance challenge Sept 16th Looks like I'm going to hold another scale endurance challenge Sept 16th. 10am meeting most likely start about 10:30am. Same rules as past one. No touching your rig unless your changing batteries or repairing your rigs. Bring some kind of recovery gear, tow strap, winch, ect. Last course was 1.5 miles so you will have to have enough batteries to make the distance. There will be 5 to10 gate. All 4 tires have to go through the gate to progress. If we have enough rigs we will do team. makes it a lot better. So if you want to team up and come down that would be great. This will be a timed event, but fastest time is not the winner. There will be a set time and the one closet to the time will be the winner. That way it is fair for someone on 1.9's and 2s to compete against 2.2's and 6s. lol. I'll I will say is it will be about walking passe. There will be some water around the course but you don't need to be water proof, if you pic the safe lines it will not go above your frame rails. May do a poker run also, working on getting some prizes. At the moment this is free but may have a cheap buy in for the prizes or a raffle. I'll add more detail when we get closer. If you have questions post up. |

Re: Scale Endurance challenge Sept 16th Scale Endurance Challenge is now sponsored by Cottage Grove RC. We are going to add a poker run to the event. You will get a card at each gate. Best hand will win a prize. Also the winner of the event will win a prize. Thanks Levi Hall for helping out with this. Also we are going to do a potluck. I'll have a table set up. Bring some kind of food to share. Nothing crazy just snake stuff. There will be a donation jar out if anyone wants to help offset some of the cost for me and levi. |
Re: Scale Endurance challenge Sept 16th For anyone that wants to come out that doesn't have a rig to run, I could use some help with course marshaling. Mostly to help point the way to the drivers. |
