Elk Rock

Can anybody tell me if Elk Rock is easily accessible right now? I have not been there for two years, and hate to make an hour drive to find it's too early in the season and the water level is too high. I've only crawled there in the summer so no idea what it's like this time of year.

Failing that, are there any other good crawling spots this time of year on the east side of the metro area?

Thanks all!

Thought elk rock was off limits now and can only drive on non-mossy rocks at spring park? Or is this a different elk rock?

I had also heard that rumor but had hoped it wasn't true. That really sucks. Damn rock-huggers!

So where are some other fun spots? Next weekend I want to check out the 205 bridge on the Oregon side. Maybe go explore in Oxbow park. I haven't tried it yet.

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/washington/523786-sw-wa-scale-comp-feb.html trying to get a comp going on the 15th if your game. Lacamas Lake trails. Even if you don't comp, it's a fantastic area to drive.
