my friend's and I have been looking for somewhere different than ERI for a while and nowhere is nearly as good. I haven't been down there since the river went high, so I'm guessing that you have to wade out to the island itself and some of the good stuff is inaccessible below waterline.

Same for High Rocks Park down in Gladstone which is impressive in appearance but overall disappointing...even at lower river levels. A few spots along the creekbed from Lower MacLeay Park in NW Portland can be fun if you're comfortable with getting some weird, occasional side-eye from people who (mostly) silently judge you fro being off-trail in such a beautiful setting.

I've heard there's some stuff down by Molalla, but since I don't have a 1:1, I haven't been down to look. Hopefully some others will join in and add some info.

There’s some ok stuff down here. Right now you’d have to head up to Sasquatch country up river. Maybe 20 mins or so out of town. Wagonwheel park between Molalla and Mulino will be ok until the water gets high. Good parking. Right now manybe 2 friendly fishermen.

A place I have been eyeing is the road cut at Parker and 192nd one block north of WA-14. I drive past that a couple times a month. Looks like a bunch of technical and broken rock. There might even be easy parking. Next time through I might just have to bring a rig now.

I’ve been looking for some new places myself. Spring park is great, it’s a little rough on my rigs but that’s what they’re made for. High rocks is ok for what it is and closer to my house. I haven’t been to Lucia falls yet mainly because it’s over an hour from Wilsonville.
I’ve been looking for places on google maps but have but have been unsuccessful so far. Unfortunately this time of year everything is starting to get flooded out, so I might start exploring the Estacada area. If I find anything I’ll be sure to report back.

Just heard rumor of a new place in the works. I don't have permission to share much but the guy building it is a crawler at heart but also loves his Arrma Infraction. Might even be some events.
